In a HELIXCHANGER heat exchanger, quadrant-shaped plate baffles are placed at an angle to the tube axis in a sequential arrangement to create a helical flow pattern. The helical flow offers improved thermal effectiveness, enhanced heat transfer, reduced pressure drop, lower fouling, and significantly reduced vibration hazards.
